Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the MAU-RENT Houses website and all bookings made through it. By using this website or making a booking, users agree to these Terms and Conditions without reservation.

2. Bookings All bookings are subject to the availability of the selected property. A booking is considered confirmed once the required payment or deposit has been received and a booking confirmation has been issued.

3. Rates and Payments Rates displayed on the website are shown in the currency specified during the booking process. Payments must be made according to the payment terms indicated at the time of booking. MAU-RENT Houses reserves the right to modify its rates at any time. However, the rate confirmed at the time of booking will remain valid for the reserved stay.

4. Cancellation Policy Cancellation conditions are those specified during the booking process and in the booking confirmation sent to the guest. Any refunds will be processed in accordance with the cancellation policy applicable to the booked property.

5. Check-in and Check-out Unless otherwise stated: Check-in: from 3:00 PM Check-out: before 10:00 AM Requests for early check-in or late check-out are subject to availability.

6. Occupancy Only the guests declared at the time of booking are permitted to stay in the property. The maximum occupancy specified for each accommodation must be respected at all times.

7. Property Rules Guests agree to use the property responsibly and to respect neighbours and the surrounding environment. Any loss, damage, or deterioration caused to the property, furnishings, or equipment may result in additional charges.

8. Liability MAU-RENT Houses shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, accident, injury, or damage occurring during the guest's stay, except where required by applicable law. Guests remain responsible for their personal belongings throughout their stay.

9. Force Majeure MAU-RENT Houses shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, or inability to fulfil its obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, strikes, government restrictions, or other force majeure events.

10. Data Protection Personal data collected through bookings or enquiries is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.

11. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius. Any dispute arising from the use of this website or a booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.
